Cynthia is a real inspiration to the staff at Masterpiece Smiles. We are grateful that she came to us for assistance.
Through restorative dentistry, we were able to help her rebuild her confidence in her smile by replacing some dental crowns. Today, we enjoy seeing her each time she visits our dentist office in Tulsa, OK.
Listen to her story, and let her inspire you, too.Read Transcript
Some of my health problems have really been life changing. Through the grace of God, I have survived so I consider myself a survivor. Just from a lot of medications and treatments I had to take, my smile had changed and I had a reaction to some chemo that I've had and I just wasn't happy with my smile, so I started researching dentists. I came here and talked to him, explained my situation. He totally understood what I was saying, that I was uncomfortable when I smiled, that I had so much to be grateful for and I had so much joy being a survivor, that I wanted to smile all the time.
The chemotherapy had a reaction to some old crowns that I'd had and my gums were receding, so I've got new crowns and he just said, “I can fix that. I know I can fix that.” The way he trimmed the gums and the way he set my crowns in so that it just looks perfectly normal now. That's something I notice now with everybody. It's part of your personality, but if you don't feel comfortable smiling, then you don't smile.
Dr. Cobble, he's more than just a dentist. He listened to me and he understood that my smile was important and he really cared. Now I can look in the mirror and it makes me feel good. I can smile at people, and I just feel like they can feel my joy.
