Well, our philosophy for our practice is to offer the finest in dentistry, materials, and techniques and do that in a way that's as comfortable as humanly possible; we focus on that a lot. I have done quite a lot of sedation dentistry for people who come in having had bad experiences. With sedation, we get them through the first few appointments. What is delightful is frequently it comes up, somebody will say, "Do you remember how frightened I was when I first came in?" They'll say things like, "I was crying in the reception room. I was so nervous." Now, they're falling asleep while we work on them with no sedation or very little. My staff that are new, when they hear that from one of our patients, they'll say, "I can't believe that David was one time terrified, and now he's just practically falling asleep while we work on him."
Dr. Jan Cobble attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree. He earned this Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. His love of dentistry and personal growth has led him to learning new skills and techniques over the years. In fact, he routinely takes 100-200 hours of continuing education every year. That’s not just sitting in a lecture hall; it includes hands-on, participatory experience. He knows how to use the best materials to offer exceptional care and high levels of service to his patients.
Dr. Cobble loves how being a dentist has provided him with constant growth and stimulation. He feels truly blessed to have been led to dentistry as his calling. Being a dentist allows him to help people in an amazingly positive way. Resorting their ability to smile, eat, talk, and laugh with confidence is very gratifying. Dr. Cobble understands it is a privilege and an honor to work with people who trust him for their dental care. He also understands this is a gift, and he’s very appreciative of that.
He’s also appreciative of his team. They are fun-loving, delightful, empathetic, and caring. Everyone loves their patients and wants to take care of their needs. When people come into Dr. Cobble’s Tulsa, OK dental office, they immediately get a sense of the special relationships between members of the team. The staff here are eager to get to know patients and welcome them into their family.
